Bison Brothers Co.,Ltd., a system integrator of large-scale storage batteries (BESS), and CATL, a global storage battery manufacturer, have agreed to establish a cooperative framework for the innovation of 2.8 GWh storage batteries (BESS) in Japan and have signed a MoU (Memorandum of Understanding).
The agreement reflects the growing market demand for BESS, and the two companies will work in partnership to provide a more competitive and comprehensive solution for the Japanese storage battery market.

Through its group company Bison energy Co.,Ltd, the company has a proven track record in renewable energy project development, with a pipeline of over 5.5 GWh of BESS projects worldwide. Bison Brother is aggressively expanding its presence in Japan and has set a goal of developing 3 GW/12 GWh of BESS by 2028.
Through this partnership with CATL, the company will accelerate the supply of battery storage solutions for the transition to renewable energy.
